Ever feel like June just whooshes past you? That’s been our house lately!
Between soccer games, t-ball practices, gymnastics showcases, piano recitals, and preschool graduation, it’s been go-go-go. My mom was here too, which was wonderful—she got to experience it all! A great visit, jam-packed with full days and full hearts... but zero time to write.
Even in the whirlwind of the last few weeks, there were some beautiful still moments—the kind of simple family nature activities June is perfect for:
✅ Our first camping trip of the year (on Father’s Day weekend!)
✅ Celebrating our little guy’s 5th birthday!
✅ And a proud little win—my A Walk in Nature Journal: Recordings of a Wild Child was featured in the Nature Explorer Pack from The Outdoor Learning Store! 🎉 It’s part of their Top 5 Nature-Based Activities for Kids (and Families) this summer.
Not every season has space for writing, but every season has stories.
I’m grateful for this busy, beautiful blur of a month. And I’m excited to bring you more Wild Child goodness soon—after coffee, a nap, and some space to find our routine again.
Here’s to all the wild-hearted families wrapping up June. You’re doing great. 💚
